This morning we planted the final produce in our early season garden. In all, we have out 198 tomato plants, about 100 pepper plants of various varieties, 8 cucumber plants, 12 zucchini, 12 yellow squash, 8 cantaloupe, 84 green bean plants (these are a 3 week rotational crop), a bed of sweet corn, a bed of onions and garlic, a bed of carrots, and of course our strawberries, which are beginning to turn red. We’ve had a good bit of rain the past couple of days, so everything is looking really well hydrated and vigorous. Now just bring on the sunshine and the harvests! When the sun comes out I’ll get out and snap some photos.
